Who is responsible

Spotlight Capital is responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

Information you choose to send

The financing-inquiry form sends the name, work email, company, optional role, deployment status, estimated financing need and optional context you provide. The one-page-brief email form sends the work email you provide so the requested document can be delivered; we use that address to send the brief and respond only if you ask us to. Neither form asks for confidential customer contracts or financial statements, and neither adds you to a marketing list.

Form submissions and direct emails are handled through the relevant hosting and email-delivery providers and retained as described in Retention below. The forms use a hidden spam-control field; they do not use a CAPTCHA.

Business contacts and outbound communications

We may collect professional contact information from company websites, professional directories, public sources, referrals, conferences, investor or business introductions, and business-information providers. This may include a person's name, employer, role, professional contact details and information relevant to their business responsibilities.

We use this information to identify and contact people whose professional responsibilities may be relevant to Spotlight's financing services, to understand potential business fit and to maintain records of business communications. We do not use this information for consumer advertising or behavioral profiling.

You may ask us to stop contacting you, correct the information or delete it by emailing info@spotlightcapital.com.

Sources of information

Depending on the contact, this may include company websites, public professional profiles, conference materials, referrals, investor introductions, professional directories, business-information services and direct business correspondence.

Purposes

We use business contact information for relevant business outreach, responding to communications, evaluating potential business fit, managing prospective commercial relationships, maintaining suppression records for opt-outs, and legal and compliance obligations.

Opt-out and suppression

If you ask us not to contact you, we may retain the minimum information necessary to record and respect that request, even where we delete other information we hold about you.

How we use information

We use the information described above to deliver a requested brief, respond to an inquiry, evaluate potential business fit, manage a potential commercial relationship, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and protect the site and prevent abuse. We do not use form contents for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Website infrastructure

This website is hosted by Vercel. Like most hosting providers, Vercel may process limited technical information needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP address, request time, browser information and requested path.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

Spotlight Capital does not use advertising trackers or behavioral profiling on this site, and personal information is not sold for advertising. When product analytics is enabled, PostHog is configured with memory-only persistence, autocapture disabled and session recording disabled, to measure aggregate actions such as page views, scroll depth, calculator use and successful form submission. That configuration does not set a persistent analytics cookie or retain an identifier across browser sessions. Analytics never receives form-field values, free-text context, or calculator input or output values.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser may therefore make a request to Google's font infrastructure when you visit.

Service providers

We use a small number of service providers to run this site and deliver email. We name a provider here only where our own code or configuration confirms it is in use.

We do not currently use a dedicated error-monitoring service or a secure data-room provider integrated with this website. If a transaction progresses to the point of exchanging confidential diligence material, we will agree a secure channel with you directly rather than using the public forms on this site.

Sharing

Information sent directly to Spotlight Capital may be shared with the service providers above, professional advisers, and transaction counterparties when reasonably necessary to evaluate or execute a potential financing, protect legal rights or comply with law. It is not sold for advertising.

Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to manage a potential or active business relationship, to maintain opt-out and suppression records, to protect legal rights, and to meet legal, accounting, contractual or compliance obligations.

General inquiries and business-development records are periodically reviewed and deleted or anonymized when they are no longer reasonably required. Transaction-related information may be retained for longer where necessary for diligence, contractual, legal, tax, accounting, audit or compliance purposes.

Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion or objection, withdrawal of consent, information about our use and sharing of your information, or that we stop contacting you. Requests can be sent to info@spotlightcapital.com.

Security

Spotlight uses reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
